This leading European IT company whose UK HQ is based in Farnham have a vacancy for a Technical Sales Networking and Security Specialist
Provide technical sales support for WStore and help grow our networking business. This includes customer contact to open and qualify networking solutions, discussing the solutions once a quote has been created and writing Sales proposals. You will also be expected to assist the sales teams in the production of quotes as required in your specialist arena and close deals where possible. There will be occasional site visits with account managers to qualify solutions face to face and you will also be expected to arrange meetings with vendors and customers to help secure deals. The Technical Sales Specialist will be able to call on support from vendors and suppliers, working together to provide solutions for our customers. The role is sales based and as such you will be given targets and goals to achieve, as well as involvement in sales activities and training. As the role involves a high level of customer contact, excellent written and spoken English is an essential requirement. Experience dealing with Cisco, HP, Veritas or any other primary networking and security vendors will be an advantage.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has good grasp of IT and sales experience within the SME area and is looking to take this to the next stage. Salary negotiable depending on experience, but 25k basic, 40k OTE is achievable first year.
