Voluntary Trainee Web Assistant for Online Magazine (work from home)
This
leading Online Magazine are seeking a volunteer to help with the
development of their Online Magazine and website. This role will suit
anyone who is looking to gain some commercial experience and strengthen
their CV.
*Requirements: Access to MSWord is a must, Adobe
InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator would be an excellent help.
Knowledge of html and css required, PHP, SQL, JavaScript and experience
with Joomla, phpBB and WordPress (both single user and MU) would be
beneficial. .
*Description: Your main job will be putting
together magazine Issues with information from Editor and Assistant
Editor when the Editor is unavailable and helping with future Web
designs of all of the sites within the group, as well as helping with
new features and bug fixes etc. Working from home but with FTP and SQL
access to all three sites, amongst other things.
*Hours:
Flexible; may be weeks/months without being needed to do much at times,
but needed much more regularly as others. Free to give up and move on
at any time (but preferably not in the week before an issue/feature
release).
